For this composition, I used the timeframe of the sunset on September 21, 2023, to record and transform data about the temperature, humidity, air pressure, and light intensity changes into sound. The data displayed on this site defines parameters such as pitch and sound intensity in the recording. The first twenty-two minutes extend the fading light of the landscape by generating sound from the most significant changes in the environmental data. The second part is a free improvisation using the sensor data after darkness has settled, when environmental conditions become relatively stable.
